Born in 1973, Stéphanie Gillard studied at the ESAV Film School in Toulouse (Ecole supérieure d'audiovisuel) before working as a assistant director and producer in the companies Films à Lou, Maïa Films and Agat Films. She has directed several documentary films that were selected in more than 20 festivals: The verb and the foot ( Arte/FranceÔ/TV5, Étoile de la Scam - French documentaries author society - 2007), The Little Princes and the Sand School (Special Mention prize of the best documentary at the Panafrican Film Festival in Cannes - 2009). She is currently working on her first feature documentary film.
