Hashima My Love
In the mid 1970s, my grandfather was sent to Nagasaki to study the reconstruction of the city after the bomb. He met by chance a woman who had just been expelled from the island where she had always lived, an island that belonged to Mitsubishi. She gave four photographs to my father so that he never forgets he story. Forty years later, I accost the ruins of Hashima, a former mine.
